Chelsea vs Krasnodar: Lampard reveals two key players to miss clash, confirms Kepa will start
Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has given an injury update ahead of their final Champions League group fixture against Krasnodar.
The Blues go into the tie having already qualified for the knockout stages.
Lampard would be able to rest key players on Tuesday, but at least two changes will be enforced.
Hakim Ziyech went off injured during their 3-1 win over Leeds United, while Callum Hudson-Odoi did not even make the matchday squad.
“Ziyech is going for a scan this afternoon. I will have more info tomorrow.
“He is out and Callum Hudson-Odoi is out, he also had a hamstring injury in training,” Lampard told a press conference on Monday.
He also confirmed that Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has lost his place to summer Eduoard Mendy, will start in goal.
“Yes, Kepa starts,” Lampard added.
