EPL: Dimitar Berbatov predicts Tottenham vs Arsenal, Chelsea vs Leeds, West Ham vs Man United
A former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov, has predicted Chelsea to beat Leeds United in today’s Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.
Berbatov also backed Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham to defeat Arsenal on Sunday evening.
According to him, West Ham and Man United would play a draw at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Providing his predictions, Berbatov was quoted by Metro UK as saying, “Chelsea have the momentum, and Frank Lampard is doing a great job. Leeds picked up an important win last time out, but the Blues at the Bridge will be too strong. Chelsea 2, Leeds 1.”
On the Tottenham vs Arsenal, Berbatov said, “I’m backing my old club, not only because another three points is what I want to see, but because Spurs are playing great football and getting results. They can march on and continue their great year with a win in the North London derby. Tottenham 2, Arsenal 0.”
Commenting on the West Ham vs Man United match, Berbatov said, “The Red Devils have a massive game on Tuesday against Leipzig, but they can’t afford to rest players as they need to climb the Premier League table. This will be a tough game against a well-organised West Ham team. West Ham 1, Man United 1.”
The kick-off time for West Ham vs Man United is 6:30 pm, while that of Chelsea vs Leeds United is 9 pm and Tottenham vs Arsenal is 5:30 pm.
