The Honourable Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency Hon. Leke Abejide paid a visit to His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, the executive governor of Kogi State to discuss the major worries confronting his constituency.Hon. Leke Abejide discussed specifically the deplorable conditions of the road in Yagba and his efforts to see that the roads get Federal attention as soon as possible.
He intimates Governor Bello about the efforts he has made on the major roads by getting them fathomed into the 2021 National budget. As he also promised to pursue the proposals to execution level.Hon. Leke equally discussed other areas of interest without the exemption of the forthcoming local government council election. He called for a peaceful, free, fair and credible election across the 21 local government of Kogi State. The state must work for everyone to enjoy, irrespective of their political class or social status.”We must make things work and put them for people to benefit, while we put party and political differences aside”.

In his response, the Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello applauds the giant strides of Hon. Leke Abejide and the excellent relationship between the Legislator and himself, he affirmed that despite the party differences he still puts the genuine concern of the people first. He commended the House of Representative Member for his populist programs in his constituency. He ascertained that, Hon. Leke is loved and appreciated by his constituents.The Governor promised to work along with the Legislator in the provision of good road networks. He assured the legislator whom he described as his brother of good conduct propelled by accurate transparency in the Local Government election.
