Kogi State Pledges Commitment To Infrastructural Development, As Deputy Governor Becomes Soludero Of Kiri Kingdom.
Kogi State Government has reaffirm it’s commitment to the provision of basic amenities in Communities across the State.
The State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja stated this after his conferment with the chieftaincy title of “Soludero of Kiri Kingdom in Akutupa Kiri, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.
Represented by the former Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Kehinde Oloruntoba, Chief Onoja said that the State Government devoted resources to infrastructural development of rural areas in State in the outgoing year and will do more in the coming year.
According to him, Governor Yahaya Bello led administration is determined to bequeath a lasting legacies of development in the State.
He promised his continued support to Kiri Kingdom and appreciated the Olukiri of Kiri, Oba Olu Jem Kiri and his council of chiefs for finding him worthy of the Chieftaincy title as “Soludero of Kiri Kingdom.
The Deputy Governor donated the sum of One Million Naira to support the the 20th anniversary of the Olukiri of Kiri Kingdom, Oba Olu Jem Kiri on the throne.
