Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Governor on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated His Excellency governor Yahaya Bello, the Rector Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Dr. Usman Ogbo and the Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones for the successful matriculation of over 9000 students of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja.

Omoluabi said the transformation of the institution under Governor Yahaya Bello and appointment of Dr Usman Ogbo have continued to make it a choice tertiary institution of learning among the youths.

“The increasing number of our youths who come from various parts of the country in pursuit of quality education in Kogi State Polytechnic speaks volume of the investment the government has made in bringing the institution up to standard.

“This is in pursuance of the government’s vision to make our dear state a leading example in terms of education in the country.

“The brilliant team who have made concerted efforts in bringing our education sector to an enviable limelight speaks volume of the governor’s eye for excellence and effectiveness.

“The new Kogi State Polytechnic today is one that has modern infrastructure and equipment to make learning easy. The turnaround which the school witnesses today is a testimony of how much premium the Governor places on education, which is the bedrock of any meaningful development. The welfare of staff has equally received a significant boost since they are the power engine of any virile educational system” he said.
